Step one - If you have not created many print ready files or do not use print industry standard graphic programs, please download our free Flyer/Brochure A4 file template below. This file has been set up at the correct size and format; in standard PC friendly file formats.
Step two - Before you create your file, make sure you have read our hints & trouble shooting page. This will help you create a print ready file.
Step Three - Run through the Press Ready File Checklist
- Has your file been created in a major MAC OS or Windows application? (PDF files are preferred)
- Does your file only contain high resolution (300dpi) images?
- Is the colour set as CMYK and NOT RGB?
- Has your file been created at A3 (297mm x 210mm)? (Not placed onto a larger document).
- If you have bleed, have you extend the image or boarder 3mm larger than the document size? (Bleed can only be used in Illustrator, In design or Quark files)
- Have the Fonts been converted to outlines or flattened? Or have you attached the fonts you used to create your file?
- Have you set up your file as single pages?

Rocket has provided the most popular A4 templates FREE for download. The templates have been created to the correct size and colour mode for easy 297mm x 210mm file creation. It is as simple as 1, 2, 3 to use these templates to create your artwork and your files will be ready to print.
